As part of her commitment to the messages of her art, Man Yu's more recent works have come out of the second dimension by incorporating specific elements to invite the viewer to interact with them. These elements of the composition have enriched the experience that the observers have had in witnessing the artist's works, granting them a way to connect with the message more intimately and to arrive at the introspection incited with the work of Man Yu. Man Yu expresses: "I have always thought that art, even painting, must be palpable; let the audience feel the textures and communicate with the works beyond just looking at them".
As an example of this, you can see the work "Angelique" which, when unveiled by the public, is discovered. Similarly, with the work "Xue Mei". Both works were inspired by the Silk Road and were exhibited at the 7th Beijing International Art Biennale at the National Museum of China, as well as at the 2019 Latin American and Caribbean Art Festival at the Beijing World Art Museum. In this last exhibition, they were acquired by the China Post and the Foundation for Peace and Development to be used as an image of the Official Commemorative Postal Stamp of the 12th anniversary of relations between China and Costa Rica, celebrated in the framework of the 70 Anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
